Phone Consultation

If you're considering counselling or would simply like to know more, you can arrange a free 15-minute phone consultation. This informal chat gives you a chance to share a bit about what's bringing you to counselling. After this, I’ll send over an enquiry form with all the information needed to begin.

Parent Consultation

For parents or carers inquiring on behalf of a child or young person, I offer a parent consultation. This is an opportunity to understand how I work, ask questions, and explore whether I’m the right fit for your child’s needs. We’ll also talk through the reasons for seeking counselling in more detail. Please note, there is a fee for this session.

Child or Young Person Assessment Session

If you decide to move forward, I’ll schedule an assessment session with your child or young person. This is a gentle introduction where we explore the focus areas for counselling. For younger children, I use creative methods to help them feel comfortable and expressive. Teenagers are given a calm space to share what’s challenging in their home, school, or personal lives.

Weekly Counselling Sessions

Once assessment is complete, we’ll arrange weekly sessions, either short or long term. Each session lasts 50 minutes and begins with a check-in to reflect on the week. We’ll set a focus for the session and finish with a check-out—often using a game to gently wind down.

Endings in Counselling

Just as counselling begins with care, it also ends with intention. When it’s time to finish, we work together to prepare for that ending, giving young people the space to reflect and move forward feeling supported.
